A sold-out evening saw over 75 participants from all over the UK, including Scotland and Ramsgate, take part in a virtual world class cocktail making experience for the Malki Foundation UK and Manna.

Steve the Barman took participants on a historical journey of where gin originated and how it was used, and then demonstrated how to make several brilliant cocktails using the ingredients the charities had provided and delivered in packs prior to the evening.

This collaboration between the Malki Foundation and Manna was a new one and both organisations worked hand in hand with all income being split.

Thanks to an auction at the end of the evening offering the bottles of gin, over £3,500 was raised to go towards helping both causes.

The Malki Foundation UK Director, Rob Taub, said “The evening was tremendous success with everyone having a great time while learning about two important causes. We have been working with other organisations for all our events and we are pleased to have developed a new partnership”.

Manna Executive Director, Gaby Blauer, said “Manna was very happy to join forces with the Malki Foundation for this event. I believe especially now it’s extremely important that charities get together and raise funds for people in need in Israel.”
