We were lucky enough to have celebrity Israeli chef Or Golan give his time to perform a Zoom cooking demonstration in aid of Manna Meir Panim. This was a brilliant success with 50 people mixing, stirring and cooking 3 of his delicious dishes. Organised by our lovely volunteers Michal and Yael Roth this zoom event raised £1,400 for our Meals on Wheels service in Israel – providing crucial help to those isolated and living below the poverty line. Supporters joined us from the U.S., Israel, Germany and of course the UK and then devoured the beef boreks, tuna ceviche on tabbouleh & tahini cookies!
