We found Lydia, a Holocaust Survivor, collecting leftovers from the ground at the end of the market day in Or Akivah. We offered here our help, she said she would only accept if she could give something back. She offered to become Meir Panim’s official photographer in Or Akiva. Today, Lydia receives a daily hot meal from Meir Panim and a Food Shopping Card before Pesach and Rosh Hashanah, and takes great pictures for Meir Panim in Israel.
