The sell-out Manna Gala Dinner has raised a record sum of £250,000.

The fully sponsored event’s menu was created by Israeli chef Yossi Elad of restaurants Palomar in London and Machneyuda in Jerusalem, who volunteered his time and skills. Through Ron First talents as one of Israel’s premier Mentalist, 300 London guests learnt about the charity and the important role thousands of volunteers play in providing services to their fellow citizens.

Thanks to the dinner, Meir Panim is able to help part of the 1.7 million Israelis currently living below the poverty line and will help people of all ages, from the Youth to Holocaust survivors, with regular nutritious meals, food packages during the festivals, pre-paid food shopping cards, education in secure locations and much more.
