Kaveret In London Raises £32,000

On Monday evening, 11 June, MANNA UK Branch of Meir Panim welcomed 700 supporters to a concert by Danny Sanderson and Gidi Gov performing Kaveret.

The event raised £32,000 for Holocaust survivors living in poverty in Israel.

Kaveret, also known as Poogy, often called Israel’s Beatles, was an Israeli rock band, which operated originally from 1973 to 1976. The band is notable for representing Israel in the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest and for its often humorous songs and unique style of music.

40 years after joining forces, Israel’s favorite pop group retires its microphones in sellout performance in 2013.
